Ellisons Solicitors were delighted to support the Ipswich Sports Aid lunch on Friday 24th February 2017 – this time welcoming British skiing legend, Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.
The Ipswich Sporting Lunch Club was launched in January 2015 and Ellisons were pleased to be one of the original sponsors.
The Club raises money for SportsAid, which helps young sports people overcome the financial challenges they face in their bid to become Britain’s next generation of sporting heroes.
The sponsors come together twice a year to host a fantastic lunch, providing excellent sport related speakers, a great atmosphere and a wonderful networking opportunity. And this year was no exception with the welcome addition of Eddie ‘The Eagle’.
Partners, Julian Outen and Toby Kramers hosted the Ellison table.
The money raised through the lunches support SportsAid (the National Charity for Sport) who working with the governing bodies of 75 sporting disciplines, support over 2,000 talented young sports people each year. SportsAid ensures the right people get the right help at the right time.
