Ellisons Solicitors was very pleased to be a part of the World’s largest coffee morning, on Friday 25th September, all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

The firm encouraged clients, staff and passers-by to pop in and have a slice of cake and a cuppa to raise money for the important cause.

The firm raised nearly 400 across the five branches.

The Ellisons coffee morning was organised by the firm’s Social Committee, who did all they could to ensure plenty of money was raised.

Bethan Williams, Chair of the Social Committee said: ‘‘so many of our staff baked delicious cakes in preparation for the coffee morning. Our clients were delighted with the offering! The committee was thrilled with how much money we raised, and look forward to organising another one next year.’’

Macmillan’s Chief Executive, Ciaran Devane, added: “Every penny raised at a coffee morning will help fund more services for people affected by cancer. Your involvement – no matter how small – means there will be enough practical, medical, financial and emotional support to help to change the lives of everyone affected by cancer for the better. And for that, we think you should feel good!”
