Sara’s leap of faith for charity!

Sara Boreham, receptionist at Ellisons Solicitors, set herself an amazing challenge at the beginning of the year – to skydive in aid of local charity, Headway.

Sara, who began working at Ellisons in 2011, completed the jump on Saturday 5th May 2012, and managed to raise £482.50. Over £100 of that was raised by Ellisons staff alone.

What’s more, Headway was Ellisons chosen charity for the financial year 2011/12 and so partners at the firm matched the amount staff had raised as a round off to fundraising activities for the financial year.  

After completing her jump, Sara said: ‘‘I’d like to thank everyone who sponsored my skydive for Headway. It was an amazing experience and I would certainly recommend it!’’

Sara is no stranger to Headway, having volunteered her time on the educational side of rehabilitation. Sara said: ‘‘It was one of the main reasons I chose to do a skydive. I’ve seen the amazing things the charity does and how much they rely on fundraising.’’
