Tim joined Plummer Tilsley and Partners (subsequently called Plummer Tilsley Logan or PTL Solicitors) in Colchester in the 1980s. He was the Managing Partner of that firm for 12 years, until it merged with Ellisons Solicitors in May 2008. He became a Managing Partner of Ellisons in 2012 until 1st May 2018 when he became the Senior Partner.
