Career
Tom qualified as a Solicitor in April 1999, and joined Ellisons in January 2007. Formerly Principal Solicitor for Colchester Borough Council, Tom specialises in all aspects of Planning Law, Environmental Law, Highway Law and Licensing.
He has appeared as the advocate in a number of Planning Inquiries, particularly those dealing with enforcement and certificates of lawful use.

Outside the Office
Tom devotes most of his spare time to football, particularly Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur (his wife’s team – it’s only fair that he shares the misery!) and Colchester United. Tom also enjoys travel (pretty much to anywhere hot) and lists the Flinders Ranges in South Australia as his favourite place.
