As we came to the close of 2022, our CSR committee voted on which charities were to receive donations from the Ellisons CSR fund. We are delighted to have had the opportunity to support Essex Search and Rescue, who are on call 24/7/365 to search, rescue and or recover vulnerable missing persons across Essex and beyond. Our £1,000 donation went towards the purchase of a number of specialist PPE helmets as shown in the pictures.
A message from Essex Search and Rescue
“Essex Search and Rescue had a very busy 2022, with a record 114 callouts. Over the Christmas period we had teams out for 4 days searching for a missing person, covering many miles. We are a registered charity made up of highly trained volunteers. We receive no national nor local funding, relying on the generosity of firms like Ellisons. I can assure you your donation was spent wisely, keeping our search teams protected as they search both day and night in all weathers.”
