Ellisons’ Corporate and Commercial team in Chelmsford led by Partner, Paul Forsyth advised S Thorogood and Sons (the “Buyer”) in relation to their acquisition of Rushtons the Chef’s Greengrocers, a fruit and vegetable supplier to many of London’s eateries. S Thorogood and Sons operate in markets at Covent Garden, Spitalfields and Western International and intend for the newly acquired business to operate under its established brand, with the support of both the Buyer and Classic Fresh Foods, the Buyer’s existing supplier business.
