Ellisons advised the individual shareholders of C & M Insurance (the “Company”) in relation to the sale of their shares in the Company to Saffron Insurance. C & M Insurance is a leading commercial lines broker, which has been trading for over 20 years.
Following successful completion of the matter Sunil Shah, selling shareholder, will remain with the business under Saffron’s ownership and will continue to operate from the Company’s premises in Romford, Essex.
This was a complex transaction comprising representation from three different areas; Paul Forsyth and David Heller who provided Sunil with corporate advice, Tina Maxey (Employment) and Joanna McKenna (Commercial Property).
Following completion, Sunil commented: “Many thanks for getting this across the line … you did a great job! Your client care and attention was exemplary! I appreciate that this was a deal that was out of the norm, however, thank you for showing tenacity and patience”.
