Despite the current restrictions and challenges, Ellisons has successfully completed the purchase of a £7.5m development land purchase in Wandsworth. The purchase of land was completed with the assistance of an Islamic Finance Facility.
This was a complex transaction working with both a bespoke Islamic Finance facility and offshore trust elements. It was a collaborative transaction comprising representation from two different areas; Antony Mao provided the client with Commercial Property advice and Jon Bloor advised on the Banking and Corporate side. The transaction was completed at the end of March during the lockdown period in the UK.
