Ellisons Solicitors is delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Fox as Head of its Contentious Trust and Probate Team. Ben joined Ellisons in May 2021 to expand the firm’s expertise in this complex and challenging area of law.
Ben is a leading contentious trust and probate specialist, with many years experience of complex disputes arising from Wills, trusts and inheritance, including cross-border and offshore cases. Such disputes arise from a wide range of circumstances, including estate administration (claims against Personal Representatives), challenges to the validity of Wills, where the Will fails to make reasonable financial provision for dependants of the Deceased, trusts and/or beneficial interests in property and assets.
Ben is a Full Member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS), and is highly ranked in a number of the leading Legal Directories, including the Chambers & Partners High Net Worth (HNW) Guide (2019 and 2020) to the world’s leading private wealth advisers, and the 2021 Legal 500 Guide describing Ben as a Rising Star in his field.

In addition to Ben, Ellisons’ Contentious Trust and Probate team comprises the highly experienced Partner, Graeme Wallington, and Graduate Legal Executive, Victoria Blanshard. The team is ready to expand further.
