Ellisons’ Ipswich team scoops three firm of the year accolades at the 2018 ACQ5 Global Awards.

Ellisons’ Ipswich branch has won three prestigious accolades in the 2018 ACQ5 Global Awards. Ellisons has been named the UK’s Personal Injury Advisory Firm of the Year, the UK’s Regional Employment Advisory Firm of the Year and the UK’s Regional Corporate and Commercial Advisory Firm of the Year, receiving the highest number of nominations in the categories.

The awards, by ACQ5 magazine, a globally renowned publication, has been celebrating achievement, innovation and brilliance in its search for the most outstanding legal organisations and professionals across the globe. The Global Award received an amazing 98,621 nominations across all of its categories, its highest ever recorded number of nominations.

Robert Gair, Partner at Ellisons said: “We are delighted to have received these awards, and to be recognised as the leading personal injury, regional employment and regional corporate and commercial advisory firm in the country.

“To be recognised in the ACQ5 Global Awards highlights the team’s dedication to our clients, not only at a local and national level, but globally. Ellisons is a member firm of the Alliott Group, a worldwide alliance of independent accounting, law and consulting firms. Through this membership we have been able to connect ourselves and our clients with some of the best like-minded individuals across the world.”

Guided by the poll’s results those firms and individuals that have had the greatest impact on the industry during the previous calendar year are duly honoured. In judging these awards, ACQ5 studied the nominations made by its voters and recognise that all of those nominated are leaders in their fields, but the exceptional performances of some deserve recognition. Only nominees receiving an average 4-star rating or above achieved a short-list status.

It has been a very exciting year for the firm, expanding its presence in Colchester and opening a new branch in Chelmsford, as well as promoting a record number of lawyers.
