Amy joined Ellisons as a Senior Associate in February 2022. Amy is the Team Leader for the Private Client team in our Colchester office, working closely with the Head of Department, Nicola Weldon.

Career overview
As an experienced solicitor within the Private Client department, Amy has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of private client matters and has been personally rated by the Legal 500 on a number of occasions.
Amy has worked on many high value estate administrations involving cross-jurisdictional assets. She is also part of the Ellisons’ International Team, and one of the lead contacts for Alliott Global Alliance, an international alliance of lawyers and accountants.
She is also a fully Accredited Member of The Association of Lifetime Lawyers, a national organisation of lawyers who are committed to providing and promoting robust, comprehensive and independent legal advice for older people, their family and carers.
Amy is a Dementia Friends Champion, working closely with those affected by dementia, and their families.
Outside the office
Between chasing around after her two young children, Amy tries to squeeze in as many holidays and city breaks as possible.
