Joined Ellisons
In July 2013, whilst studying for her Legal Practice Course final exams, Bethan joined Ellisons as a paralegal in the Insurance Litigation department. She started her training contract in February 2014 and qualified into the Commercial Property Department in February 2016 assisting Managing Partner, Guy Longhurst as well as Partner, Susan Ryan and Senior Associate Solicitor, Antony Mao.
Bethan was promoted to Senior Associate in June 2022.

- Acting for Landlords and Lenders in connection with mixed freehold and leasehold portfolios, for both occupation and as investment vehicles
- Acting for Tenants and Landlords in connection with Leasehold Tenancies and Pre-Emption Agreements
- Acting for landowners and purchasers in connection with conditional and unconditional Contracts for Sale
- Acting for both landowners and developers on Option Agreements
- Acting for both landowners and promotors on Promotion Agreements
- Advising landowners and developers on various planning and statutory agreements
- Advising on property aspects of corporate acquisitions, disposals and investment arrangements

Bethan completed her Law Degree at University of Southampton, and then her Legal Practice Course at Anglia Ruskin, Cambridge.

Outside the office
When not in the office Bethan loves to play netball, travels as much as possible and socialises with family and friends. As a keen netballer, Bethan plays for a team in Ipswich and also championed the Ellisons netball team. Bethan is the chair of the Social Committee and is an avid fundraiser for Asthma UK; Ipswich and Colchester Soup Kitchen; and the Colchester and Tendring Women’s Refuge.
