Catherine joined Ellisons in 2018 as a Solicitor. She is a member of FOIL. The majority of Catherine’s career has been as a claimant lawyer representing claimants with catastrophic injuries, who have been injured in road traffic accidents or in the workplace.
She studied History at University of Greenwich before completing her law degree at Wolverhampton University part-time whilst working. Following this she completed her LPC at the College of Law in London, also on a part time basis. She began her career as a Paralegal in a criminal law firm in Romford before moving into the claimant Personal Injury sector as a Paralegal in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.
She qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and was offered a role as a newly qualified solicitor in the Personal Injury department. Following this Catherine moved to a London motor insurer for two years in the large loss department.
When not in the office helping clients Catherine enjoys running and is planning to run the Oxford half marathon in October. She has two children who are both at primary school. She also loves detective novels and was a keen scuba diver before having children, hoping to return to this when they are older.
