Joined Ellisons
Emma joined Ellisons in 2021 as an Associate Solicitor within the Dispute Resolution team.
Areas of Specialism
- Property disputes including disputes relating to covenants, easements, nuisance and boundary disputes.
- Resolution of disputes arising from jointly owned property.
- Commercial and residential landlord and tenant disputes, including disrepair and recovery of unpaid rent and service charge.
- Claims to recover possession of property, including in the event of trespass.
- Property related professional negligence claims.
- Experience in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation.
Career overview
Emma studied law at the University of Kent in Canterbury before gaining her LPC. Emma qualified as a solicitor in 2013 and was promoted to Associate in 2020.
Emma advises individual and commercial clients from a preliminary stage through to trial. Emma has extensive experience in an array of contentious commercial and residential property matters.
Emma is a member of the Property Litigation Association, a professional association of property litigation specialists.
Outside the office
Outside of the office Emma enjoys spending time with friends and family, exploring and travelling to new places, swimming and practising yoga.
