Paul is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team. Paul graduated from the University of Essex before training and qualifying in London in 2009.

Paul joined Ellisons in October 2010 and was promoted to Partner in 2016. In 2018 Paul and commercial property partner, Ross Wiltshire, opened the firm’s office in Chelmsford, Paul splits his time between the firm’s Colchester office and the Chelmsford office.

Paul’s focus is the acquisition and disposal of private companies, regularly working on transactions with a deal value of £1m to £50m, that scope regularly includes management buy outs and transactions requiring tax driven restructurings prior to disposal. He also has expertise in acting for Administrators and Liquidators in the disposal of businesses from insolvency processes, regularly advising insolvency professionals alongside our specialist Insolvency Team.

Paul has contacts throughout Essex and Suffolk that can assist you structuring transactions, finding a buyer, a target or finance.
