Lisa is a Partner and Head of Family at Ellisons, based in Colchester and Chelmsford. She specialises in high-net-worth financial remedy matters following separation, including cases with difficult litigants and those with an international element. She is regularly instructed to act for third party intervenors in financial remedy cases.
Lisa also assists clients in complex Children Act 1989 proceedings including cases involving domestic and sexual abuse, narcissistic behaviour, gaslighting, coercive control, alienating behaviour and implacably hostile parenting.
Lisa has a wide breadth of experience and knowledge across all areas of family law earning her a formidable reputation amongst clients, barristers and other professionals. Alongside the legal advice, Lisa is also recognised for offering clients practical common-sense solutions. Her approach to client care is always to prioritise what is in her client’s best interests and giving them the best service possible in one of the most difficult periods of their life.
Lisa is a member of Resolution which is a national organisation of family law professionals committed to a non-confrontational and constructive resolution of disputes. Lisa has carried out mediation training and whilst not a practicing mediator, she uses the same ideology where appropriate in practice.

Lisa enjoys spending time with her family usually outdoors; walking, cycling or watching her children’s football matches in all weathers (perhaps not so much fun!).
