Mark is a medical negligence solicitor who has been representing clients injured as a result of medical treatment for over 10 years. He joined Ellisons at the beginning of 2023 to establish the medical negligence team.
Mark started working in Medical Negligence in 2013 at a local firm, after obtaining his law degree. In 2015 Mark completed his CILEx Fast-Track Diploma and initially qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 2018. He then completed the LPC, alongside his LLM, before qualifying as a solicitor.
Mark has experience working on a wide-range of cases, including claims against GPs, NHS Hospitals, Mental Health Trusts and private surgeons. He has recently obtained settlements for clients in claims involving loss of vision, misdiagnosis of cancer, substandard orthopaedic surgery, and under the Human Rights Act.
Mark is an APIL accredited Personal Injury Litigator and also a former committee member of the Ipswich and Suffolk Medicolegal Society. He currently volunteers as a Trustee for a local charity which provides support and advocacy for people living with severe mental health conditions.

Outside of work Mark is a lifelong supporter of Ipswich Town Football Club and enjoys travelling, food, and DIY. He is also passionate about improving mental health services in Suffolk and serves as a Trustee to Suffolk User Forum.
