Sally is a Senior Associate Solicitor in Ellisons’ Family team in Chelmsford. She deals with all aspects of family law and has a wide breadth of expertise in divorce and acting for high net worth individuals and on complex children matters.  Sally also assists clients with pre and post nuptial agreements as well as separation agreements and cases involving property and financial claims for children.

Sally is a highly experienced family lawyer with 30 years of experience working within this practice area. She likes to work with clients, listening to what they wish to achieve and advising them without using legal jargon so that they have a realistic understanding of the law and can make the right decisions for themselves and their family. She is empathetic and supports her clients to achieve the best and most workable outcome they can, avoiding unwelcome and costly court proceedings, whenever possible. Sally is a Resolution trained Collaborative Lawyer and has also undergone specialist training to be able to assist and advise both parties together after a separation. This follows the “One Couple – One Lawyer” model.

Sally’s approach suits collaborative law  which is a way of resolving matters outside of the court process and focuses very much on what outcome is best for the family as whole.

Sally is also a member of Resolution which is a national organisation of family law professionals committed to a non-confrontational and constructive resolution of disputes.
