Career

Ian joined Ellisons in January 2018 as an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team, specialising in construction and regulatory law. Ian graduated from the University of Nottingham and completed his LPC at the College of Law in London. He was a trainee solicitor at the Crown Prosecution Service, before working in the public sector, for local authorities and a police force, for 11 years. Ian entered the private sector in 2007, joining a Suffolk-based firm specialising in construction, regulatory, licensing and general commercial litigation.

Praise for Ian:

"Ian reacted quickly to our assignment…he provided us with succinct advice [and] continued to support us as we entered negotiations, steering us through a number of potential problems and checking at regular intervals that we had everything we needed. With his expert advice and guidance, the matter was concluded to the satisfaction of all parties.  The Directors of Brennan Limited have no hesitation in recommending Ian Seeley."
