Joined Ellisons
Rosalyn joined Ellisons in January 2020 as a Solicitor within the Family department. Rosalyn was promoted to Associate in June 2022.
Rosalyn is currently on maternity leave.

Rosalyn’s focused areas of experience are:
- Court Advocacy in Children Act 1989, Injunctive Relief and Financial Remedy cases.
- Children Act 1989 proceedings involving relocation requests within the jurisdiction of England and Wales and in cases acting for Grandparents seeking an arrangement order.
Career overview
Prior to joining Ellisons, Rosalyn attended the University of Essex and graduated in 2004 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) Law Degree. Rosalyn subsequently completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2005 before qualifying as a Solicitor in April 2009. Rosalyn took a career break and worked in the publishing industry for five years before then returning to working in firms in the local Essex area. Rosalyn has gained skills and business knowledge during her career break which are utilised during her role of a Solicitor.
Rosalyn is also a member of Resolution which is a national organisation of family justice professionals committed to non-confrontational and constructive resolution of disputes.

Outside the office
Rosalyn enjoys keeping fit and looking after her pets which include a puppy, kitten and rabbits. Rosalyn is also a Trustee for ‘Inspirational Gems’ which is a charity set up in memory of her older sister.
