Catherine joined Ellisons in September 2020 and started her training contract in September 2021. She qualified as a Solicitor into the Commercial Litigation team in September 2023.

Career overview
Catherine started working at Ellisons in 2020 in the Quality and Compliance department. She then commenced her training contract working in Insurance Litigation and Commercial Property before settling into Commercial Litigation. In Commercial Litigation she specialises in a range of areas including breach of contract, shareholder disputes, professional negligence, director disputes, commercial disputes, and misrepresentation cases.
Catherine is an active member of the Corporate Social Responsibility team, involved in organising pro bono events for the local community and working closely with local organisations. She has close links with the University of Essex, where she completed her LLB in Law, and the Essex Law Clinic where she worked for three years and was Student Director.
Catherine is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association.
Outside the office
Catherine enjoys travelling (favourite place is Gran Canaria) and exploring new places. She also enjoys trying new restaurants and going to the cinema.
