Ellisons Solicitors have assisted The MEL Group to expand its operations into Chelmsford, in what has already proved to be an exciting year for the group following a number of company acquisitions.
MEL Aviation Limited, with Ellisons Solicitors assistance, have now completed the lease of over 21,000 sq ft of industrial unit space on the brand new development of Clock Tower Industrial Park on the former Britvic site in Chelmsford.
In the year that The MEL Group celebrated its 50th anniversary, the move into Chelmsford is yet another marker of the group’s accelerated growth, ensuring that it remains a total engineering solutions provider to the global aerospace and defence market.
Joanna McKenna, Solicitor at Ellisons, said: “Having grown up in Chelmsford, and knowing the history of the area, it has been exciting to work with The MEL Group to complete this letting on the site of the prominent redevelopment of the former Britvic factory”.

This is great news for Ellisons, following the firm’s own expansion into the Chelmsford market with the opening of its new office in March this year, bringing its total number of offices in Essex and Suffolk to six.
