The Corporate and Commercial team at Ellisons Solicitors represented the shareholders of International Packaging Solutions Limited (the parent company of PLF International Limited) (“PLF”) during the transaction for the sale of the company to an American buyer, JBT Corporation (“JBT”), which completed on 31st July 2017.
PLF, founded in 1994, specialises in the design and manufacture of powder filling systems which are used worldwide, including in the global food and beverage markets. JBT, based in Chicago, are a worldwide employer and a technology solutions provider to high-value segments of the food & beverage industry.
The complexity and value of this transaction is further evidence of how the team at Ellisons have cemented their position in the corporate marketplace as an experienced go-to team providing support and advice in high value mergers and acquisitions.
The transaction was led by David Heller (Corporate Solicitor), Philip Roberts (Commercial Property Partner) and Julian Outen (Employment Partner).
