Career overview
Ryan developed an early interest in Business Law and obtained a First-Class law degree, followed by a First-Class Masters in International Commercial Law in 2010. He went on to work for a top 50 UK Law Firm, provided in-house support to a global technology company and founded and managed his own specialist practice, Cracknell Law, from 2015 to 2023.
Ryan joined Ellisons in October 2023 as a Partner and leads the Firm on Commercial Contracts, Data Protection and Intellectual Property matters.

Outside the office
Ryan is passionate about using Legal Design to make contracts more transparent and accessible and he created the first legally binding comic book T&Cs. In his spare time, Ryan is a keen guitarist, enjoys dog-walking with his young family and is working towards his karate black belt.
