Ellisons Solicitors, Jamesons Accountants and Natwest Bank all did their bit for a struggling charity this month, by hosting a Casino Night in aid of Age UK Colchester.
The three Essex firms hosted an evening of entertainment for their clients in the Old Library, at the Colchester Town Hall, on Thursday 7th February.
A casino, using fun money, helped to raise over 900 for Age UK Colchester – an excellent achievement!
Age UK Colchester is Ellisons charity of the year for the financial year 2012/13 and so they are delighted at the amount raised.
Age UK Colchester works with and for older people in the borough of Colchester, operating from their base at Globe House, 6 George Street. The Colchester based charity offer a wide range of services to keep older people fit and healthy, including computer courses, chair aerobics and their intergenerational project. They also provide up to date and accurate advice and information on a variety of subjects relating to older people.
