Associate Solicitor, Joanne Kelly, and Trainee Solicitor, Alexandra Chisnall, attended the Ipswich High School Careers Fair on Wednesday 8th March, in order to promote the legal profession as an excellent career choice.

The school invited Ellisons to attend in order to discuss the pathway to becoming a Solicitor or Legal Executive with the students. Joanne Kelly said: ‘‘It is so important to encourage young students and to ensure they are aware of all the options open to them. My children attend the Ipswich High School and I am very pleased that they will be attending this event to learn more about life after school, college or university.’’

Ellisons regularly attend events such as these, recognising that not all lawyers follow the traditional path of studying law at university before completing their Legal Practice Course. Indeed many of Ellisons current trainees have joined the firm after completing their A levels (in order to begin their CILEX exams to become a Legal Executive) or perhaps having completed a degree in another discipline.
